The communication of tariffs and tariff changes index evaluates whether electricity tariffs are transparent. A score of 1 is assigned if effective tariffs are available online and customers are notified of a change in tariff a full billing cycle (that is, one month) ahead of time. The index is computed based on the methodology in the DB16-20 studies.
